World Wildlife Fund is asking
individuals, businesses, governments and organizations
around the world to
turn off their lights for one hour – Earth Hour –
to make a global statement
of concern about climate change
and to demonstrate commitment to finding solutions.
How many of you plan on participating???
Thanks for the Earth Hour reminder. I definately plan on turning everything off for one hour.

I have it writ large on my calendar. I have such a problem reading your blog - sometimes I cannot get it to scroll at all - Google can be so frustrating, can't it.
ReplyDeleteI have got it marked down too!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry Weaver! I thought that taking off the template would have worked for you!!! Do you have dial up like I do? I think thats my problem on peoples blogs. yes Google hates me! LOL I almost always have to try 4 or 5 times to leave a comment if it even works!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday to you too Caprice!!! I plan on it myself! )I just hope I dont forget! LOL I'm the worlds worse on remembering things!
Hi Cathy.....hope your day is going good! wouldnt it be cool if EVERYONE participated in Earth day???
Rae - how cool you posted about Earth Hour. I posted the same on my blog, along with a video promoting this years "Earth Hour" that featured a lot of the events that took place last year.
ReplyDeleteFor us way down at the bottom of the world, it's today. Starts in a little over 8 hours in fact ;o)
Oh wow, thanks for mentioning this. It's a great idea. I heard even Target is participating. I want to go to my local Target and see if they really turn the lights out! They'll still be open, so I just can't see how they will honor this?
ReplyDeleteHi Rae!
ReplyDeleteWe had it here yesterday. The NZ Herald had a report that loads of people took part in turning their lights off for an hour. Awesome. I had candles going last night it was loads of fun.
Love and hugs
